RiverSource Investments Hires Integrity Capital Management Principals

MINNEAPOLIS — Aug. 18, 2009 — RiverSource Investments today announced that Stephen Demirjian and Murphy vanderVelde, portfolio managers and principals of Boston-based Integrity Capital Management, will join RiverSource.

"We're pleased to add these investment professionals who have a strong track record in both traditional and alternative investment strategies," said Chris Keating, head of institutional sales and client services at RiverSource Investments. "These hirings deepen our roster of talented, experienced investment professionals and add breadth to our existing investment offerings."

Stephen Demirjian at Integrity Capital Management said: "We're excited to be a part of RiverSource Investments. We believe this is an excellent opportunity for our clients. We gain access to multiple resources, including a world class marketing team, which allows us to continue to focus on managing assets."

Demirjian and vanderVelde are expected to join RiverSource in September.
