Meeting Basic Needs: Commitment to domestic hunger relief
One in eight Americans struggles with hunger – including 12.5 million children1 and 5 million seniors2. These individuals are often hard-working adults who simply cannot make ends meet and are forced to make difficult trade-off decisions between paying for essentials, like rent, utilities or medical care, and purchasing nutritious food. Ameriprise Financial is proud to support Feeding America®, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organization, in providing nutritious meals. Through its nationwide network of 200 food banks3, the organization served 46 million people last year.
