What are the Ameriprise Insights Communities?

These private online insight communities were developed for Ameriprise Financial clients like you to share your perspectives on relevant topics like technology, advertising, and new products and services.

The communities use private online discussion boards, surveys, and other formats. In exchange for your time, you can earn gift cards to your favorite retailers or direct your rewards to charity. You are free to leave the community at any time.

 

Clients provided input on a variety of topics in 2025, including:

Ameriprise advertising

Social media usage

Financial concerns

Banking product(s) messaging

Multigenerational investing

Client Referrals

 

What do existing client community members say about the community?

Participating in the community is a way to ensure that your voice is heard. About 70%1 of existing community member clients are highly satisfied with their participation, and with most participants saying they would very likely recommend others to join the community1:

About 8 in 10 indicated that:1

  • The activities are engaging and appreciate the potential for monetary rewards for participation through sweepstakes drawings2 
  • They feel more up-to-date and knowledgeable about Ameriprise and its initiatives/new products 
  • Their opinions matter and Ameriprise is considering their feedback

What is the process to join the community?

In the email you received from Ameriprise’s email ameriprisefinancial@em.ameriprise.com you were asked to complete a confidential 7-10-minute questionnaire. Once you’ve completed the survey and opted to participate in the future surveys, you’ll be contacted by our trusted research partner with more information about how you can begin your engagement with the community as a member of The Financial Collective. 

Who is Human8?

Human8 (formerly Gongos, Inc.) is a trusted research partner of Ameriprise Financial that facilitates all research community activities. Ameriprise and Human8 work together closely on all research studies that take place in the Ameriprise Financial Collective community. More information can be found on: https://www.wearehuman8.com/
