Working together to reduce hunger
Commitment to hunger relief
Since 2009, Ameriprise has had a strong philanthropic partnership with Feeding America©, the nation’s largest domestic hunger-relief organization. Through our commitment to helping alleviate hunger, domestically and globally, we’ve provided 146 million meals and nearly 419,000 volunteer hours.
Engagement with charity partners
We’re a firm driven by our values, and respect for individuals and communities in which we live and work guides our actions. Through strategic grants, volunteerism and global gift matching, in 2025 we supported a diverse group of more than 8,000 nonprofits.
Engagement with charity partners
Ameriprise India supports seven local NGOs to help meet the basic needs of older adults and children, in addition to mentoring and providing educational opportunities to underprivileged youth.
Columbia Threadneedle Foundation
In the UK and Europe, the Columbia Threadneedle Foundation works with long-term charity partners to improve individual people’s lives and drive fundamental social change. Through the power of art, sport and education as catalysts for change, we seek to address critical social issues – inclusion, opportunity, employment, empowerment and mental health. Common threads in our programs and charity partners include the ability to build skills and confidence, challenge perspectives and broaden horizons.
Community Reinvestment Act
Ameriprise Bank, FSB, in accordance with the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) continues to make grants and investments to support affordable housing, social services and economic development, and volunteer service in the Minneapolis/St. Paul region, its designated CRA assessment area.
The collective impact of individual giving
We support our people and the causes they are passionate about through global gift matching and a robust Volunteer Rewards Program. In 2025, when matched by Ameriprise, advisors and employees generously donated more than $7.96 million to causes they care about.
