Ameriprise is proud to support national nonprofit organizations whose missions align with our grant making priorities of meeting basic needs, supporting community vitality and engaging our employees and advisors as volunteers.

Meeting Basic Needs: Commitment to domestic hunger relief

One in eight Americans struggles with hunger – including 12.5 million children1 and 5 million seniors2. These individuals are often hard-working adults who simply cannot make ends meet and are forced to make difficult trade-off decisions between paying for essentials, like rent, utilities or medical care, and purchasing nutritious food. Ameriprise Financial is proud to support Feeding America®, the nation's leading domestic hunger-relief organization, in providing nutritious meals. Through its nationwide network of 200 food banks3, the organization served 46 million people last year.
